The next edition of Transition: Grants

The main goal of Transition is to cause a mindset shift on the participants: From a consumers of culture to a creators of culture. A process designed to support anyone that considers taking this journey. We Facilitate psychological insight, personal development practice and project management know how.

The next edition of Transition will deal with Grants and Fundraising: Science, Art, Politics, all are fair. The collective process will support you in finding the opportunity, conceiving the project, fleshing out the application and submitting it on time. There is no previous experience necessary to join the Transition Process.

The Grants edition is still being designed and includes the facilitated coaching process (calls and face to face encounters). It's where the experimental methodology unfolds.

By acquiring the episodes you are free to work in your own time with the 15 episodes (roughly 20 min each) and also set your own goals and themes.

What is Transition?

An all-purpose method to navigate the creative process. We look at the creator at the center of the practice as the primary resource to be nurtured.

The outcomes can be anything: they’ll emerge from the creator’s brave and thoughtful explorations of the intersections between himself and the world. You can find the episode list here.

You will learn (at least):

. How to better manage your energy and motivation in the most challenging moments of creative projects, and leverage the whole depth of your personality as an energy source.

. How to prioritise tasks, set goals, accept compromises, and avoid traps and pitfalls to get things done with less hustle.

. How to work remotely, communicate clearly about your work, and negotiate creative goals in a group.

What was Transition designed for?

The Methodology hinges on individual reflection through creative practice: Let's organise your soul, inventory your passions and turn your heart into an instrument that you can play to tap into a vast amount of energy and create great things. We call it "Playing Our Own Game".

This is what traditional education should do but doesn't. The world moves so fast, with so much information and experience possibilities that Navigation and Curation become ever more important. We need to learn how to learn but not only that - we need a system to navigate our learning journey.

Transition was designed to turn on the key of intrinsic motivation and tap into the pool of energy at the core of our personalities by "Playing Our Own Game". In that state, goals that seemed impossible become achievable. It's a matter of context and solving the right issue at the right time and for deeply personal reasons.

Ever felt like your free time might be when you are actually less free? When you go from pleasure to pleasure, like a hungry monster, but never feel full? You might be caught up in a game that's not yours and trying to mask it by consuming. Gratification and fulfilment are not automatically the same thing, but they can be. Once you learn how to tie them together, it'll be easier to find the others who found the same trick and are playing their own game.

Owning your reasons to be alive will shine energy in every aspect of your life. You've met people like this - they are purely magnetic. Don't wait for this to happen by accident and don't get caught on somebody else's model of happiness. Design and play your own game in a sustainable and beautiful way and no one will be able to stop you from doing it.
